Install Cookiewise on each client site, connect with an API key, and manage the banner, cookie inventory, scanner, and consent log from wp-admin. The key never leaves the WordPress server.

- Create or select the client website in Cookiewise Domain Management
- Generate an API key (prefix
cw_live_) and store it in a password manager - Activate the Cookiewise plugin and paste the key in wp-admin
- Run a scan, recategorise cookies that need review, then publish the banner
- Confirm GTM/GA4 load after the Cookiewise script for Consent Mode v2
